At 21 years old, Moreira – who will race next year for the Honda-LCR team in the main category – celebrated his first world title.
He left ninth on the grid and finished 11th, a result enough to stay ahead of his championship rival, Manuel Gonzalez, who finished 22nd.
The Spaniard was 24 points ahead of the leaders before the pasture reached the city located in eastern Spain.
Moreira, winner of four races this season, and who has been competing in the Moto 2 category since 2024, succeeds Japanese Ai Ogura, the most prominent star of the current motorcycle season, on the list.
