
In Spain, about 110 new swimming pools are built every day. According to ASOFAP figures, there are already more than 1.3 million aquatic facilities on the national market, a number exceeded only by the United States, Brazil and France and representing 7% of the global swimming pool. The local industry, which brings together nearly 2,000 companies and generates 70,000 direct or indirect jobs, will have a turnover exceeding 1.6 billion euros this year. Part of this growth can be attributed to the high demand for repair, renovation and modernization services for existing swimming pools, which are expected to become increasingly sustainable and healthy.
