Today the magnifying glass is focused on football and music, because there is no better antidote to the anxieties, evils and stresses of everyday life than watching the ball roll or going to a good concert. This weekend, in Buenos Aires, there were two clear examples of how a sports score or listening to live music can change your mood (for better or worse).
The super classic Boca-River Hotel at La Bombonera was one of them. A large portion of Argentines were paralyzed for two hours by the country’s most famous 11-for-11. It was a celebration of the Zenzis, and a dissatisfaction with the millionaires. Something similar, though farther away, happens to Argentine fan Franco Colapinto who attempts to perform miracles at the wheel of an Alpine car and has his own little celebrations: making Hamilton lose his front wing when trying to overtake him and defending himself relentlessly in front of Ishak Hajjar.
What can we say about Dua Lipa, about whom I know nothing, but she aroused great enthusiasm among those who went to see her, and many clips or stories on Instagram. There was a moment when these two passions came together this weekend, when the English singer went to a box set to watch the super classic. Two in one. Congratulations, good ground wire.
