Former President Alberto Fernandez said goodbye to his dog Dylan, who died after several months of health difficulties. The dog accompanied the former president during his four-year stay in Quinta de Olivos.
From what he learned, Dylan lived with Fernandez in the Puerto Madero neighborhood of Buenos Aires, and had a walker that took him outside every day. Recently, he was seen in the neighborhood in poor condition and having difficulty moving around.
Fernandez expressed his sadness on his Instagram account, saying: “Although I may have never told you, I was always waiting for your arrival. You were part of my life, and you gave me loyalty, joy, and tenderness. You gave me an unconditional friendship that only some people have given me. We shared wonderful moments full of silent peace and others full of joy and noise.”
He added: “For the past few months you have been fading away and today, with great pain, I say goodbye to you. Dylan, my dear friend, thank you for so much love, which I believe I have reciprocated. Now you will reach some heaven where we will surely meet again. Goodbye, my beloved Dylan.”
