The recently released Netflix series Caso Eloá: Refém ao Vivo reveals details of the crime that shocked the country. The series tells the story of Elois Pimentel, who was kidnapped and murdered by her ex-boyfriend, Lindbergh Alves, when she was fifteen years old.
Lindbergh kept Iloa in a private prison, inside an apartment in São Paulo, for more than 100 hours. Even after several attempts by the police to avoid a tragedy, the crime had a tragic outcome.

How is Lindbergh doing today?
Lindemberg Alves is arrested for the murder of Eloá Pimentel. Four years after the crime, he was sentenced to 98 years in prison. In 2013, his sentence was reduced to 39 years.

In March this year, the sentence was commuted again. This time, more than 100 days later, for work carried out in the Tremembe II prison, where he is imprisoned, on the coast of São Paulo.
He had asked for a reduced sentence because he had studied and taken an entrepreneurship course in Tremembe. In total, the São Paulo Court of Justice (TJSP) reduced two study days and 107 work days.
The Eloá Case: Hostage Live details the crime committed by Lindemberg, as well as unpublished testimony from the teen’s family and friends, who are still living with the pain of Eloá’s untimely loss. The title is available on Netflix.
