The Marine Radio Station of Brasilia (ERMB) is one of the military organizations representing the Brotherhood in the Inter-American Naval Communications Network (RNIT).
The RNIT was created in March 1962, during the Third Inter-American Naval Conference, held in Viña del Mar, Chile, with the aim of maintaining an exchange of communications between the naval commands of the participating nations.
In addition to the operational information inherent in joint allied maritime operations, the RNIT is also responsible for transmitting joint coordination messages between Member States in response to the effects of natural disasters.

Condemnation
The Attorney General’s Office indicated that Garnier was the only one of the three armed forces commanders who participated in the coup plot.
In the process, Garnier was convicted of five crimes:
- Armed criminal organization.
- Coup attempt.
- Attempting to abolish the democratic rule of law by violence.
- qualifying damage to union assets; and
- Deterioration of listed heritage.
According to the accusation, he placed naval forces at the disposal of then-President Jair Bolsonaro.
Augusto Heleno and Paulo Sergio Nogueira, convicted of participating in the coup plot, were the targets of arrest warrants on Tuesday (25/11).
