Bernardo Bello entered the animal world after marrying Tamara Harush Garcia, daughter of the late animal breeder Waldermir Paes Garcia, known as Maninho.

- Areas used for gambling and illegal operation of slot machines.
- According to the complaint, Bernardo Bello articulated and coordinated the entire plan to eliminate Beed.
- While former police officer Wagner Allegri, who acted as Bello’s personal security guard, was the one who fired the fatal shots. Both are currently fugitives from justice.
Alcibiades Paes García, known as Bede, was killed in February 2020, in Barra da Tijuca, during Carnival, when returning from the samba school procession in the Marqués de Sabucay. According to MPRJ, the crime was carried out in cooperation with Beed’s security guards, who provided important information to carry out the murder, which the prosecutor also condemned.
He was the brother of Waldomero Paes Garcia, known as Maginho, who was a big figure in Rio until his death in 1999. Bernardo Bello was married to Tamara Garcia, Maginho’s daughter. Since Maninho’s death, violent and bloody disputes over inheritance and control of game animals have intensified within the family.
