On Friday (28/11), doctor and Palmeiras fan Kawi Brunelli Dezzotti died at the age of 38, the victim of an accident during a tourist bus tour of the city. The bus that killed a Palmeiras fan was not authorized to operate
The Lima and Callao Urban Transport Authority (ATU) stated in a statement that the tourist bus in which Palmeiras fan, Cao Brunelli Dezoti, 38, died, on the eve of the Libertadores final, on Friday (28/11), was operating without a license and with an irregular driver.
The Peruvian agency stated that the vehicle did not have a valid license to transport tourists and would therefore be confiscated and could be cancelled.
Dezzotti, a doctor and teacher, was taking part in a tour of the Costa Verde with other fans when he hit his head while passing under a low bridge. Eyewitnesses reported that the car did not slow down. He received initial care at the scene and was taken to the Maison de Santé clinic in Chorrilos, but arrived dead due to head trauma.
