
According to Central Bank (BC) data released on Tuesday (11/11), R$9.7 billion is available for recovery through the System of Values Receivable (SVR), which allows you to review amounts forgotten in banks. Values refer to September 2025.
According to the monetary authority, R$7.6 billion is available to 48.6 million customers, while 4.7 million companies can withdraw R$2.1 billion.

By September, the British Columbia Commission reported that R$12.2 billion of money left behind in banks had already been returned. Of the amounts returned, R$9 billion went to individuals and R$3.2 billion to legal entities.

Most of the values are between R$ 0.00 and R$ 10.00 (64.63%) and the smallest part is values above R$ 1000.01 (1.81%).
Moreover, banks are the largest holders of forgotten values, followed by unions, cooperatives and payment institutions.
How to check forgotten money
- Access the SRV website during the withdrawal period notified in the first consultation. If you forget dates, you can return to the system in the summary.
- Log in to your gov.br account (Silver or Gold level). If you do not have an account in one of the two levels, proceed with registration or increase the security level (in the case of Bronze accounts) on the website or in the Gov.br app.
- Read and accept the disclaimer.
- Verify the amount to be received, the institution that must return the amount, and the origin (type) of the amount to be received.
- Choose the option from the options indicated by the system: “Order here”, to return the amount via BEX, within 12 working days; Or “Organization Ordering,” which targets users who don’t have PIX.
The Ministry of Finance reported that there are no deadlines for customers to withdraw resources from financial institutions, contrary to what was initially communicated.
Furthermore, according to BC, since May 27, it has been possible to enable an automatic request for a refund of receivables.
Signing up for the new service is optional, and all other system features remain the same.
