The Formula 1 grid has been set for the Qatar Grand Prix on Saturday (29/11). Australian Oscar Piastri, who won the sprint race, set the best time and took first place. Lando Norris and Max Verstappen completed the top three.
Brazilian Gabriel Bortoletto finished 14th, but will start 19th due to the penalty he received after his collision with Lance Stroll in Las Vegas. The drivers return to the Losail International Circuit on Sunday (11/30), 1pm (Brasilia time), for the main Formula 1 race.

In the first quarter, George Russell, Norris and Piastri recorded the best times. Meanwhile, Tsunoda, Ocon, Hamilton, Stroll and Colapinto were unable to advance and will start from the last positions on the grid.

In the second part of qualifying, it was Piastri’s turn to lead, with Norris and Verstappen completing the top three times. Hulkenberg, Lawson, Berman, Bortoletto and Albon did not advance to the next stage.
Finally, in the third section, Oscar Piastri took first place in his last attempt. When time also ran out, Verstappen was third. Lando Norris will be in second place. At this final stage, a red flag was raised to remove debris on the track.
