The 24-year-old Briga Funk singer posted a statement on Wednesday afternoon (11/12) in which he thanked his fans for their support, but will temporarily devote himself to his health.
“We inform you that artist VT Kebradeira will temporarily step away from his professional activities to care for his mental health,” the statement read. “We are grateful for the love and support of everyone who follows and believes in the artist’s work,” the text highlights.

What happened
The case occurred inside a Catedral vehicle, traveling from São Paulo (SP) to Natal (RN). According to the Civil Police, the artist had boarded Goiânia and was heading to the capital of Rio Grande do Norte, where he would perform. During the flight, he allegedly harassed a passenger who was sitting next to him.
The victim told police that the singer asked to share a blanket, and she agreed. He then allegedly made sexual gestures and comments, prompting the woman to move away. Faced with rejection, the funk singer allegedly responded with racist insults, saying: “I don’t even like black women, you ape.”
This is not the first controversy involving the singer, who is from Recife (PE). In December last year, VT Kebradeira ran over a woman in João Pessoa (PB) while driving drunk. At that time, he suffered a psychotic break and was transported to a local hospital.
