Three members of the factions were convicted, on Tuesday (25/11), of the murder of the young man Matheus Barbosa da Silva in 2022. The jury court of the province of Sorriso (399 km from Cuiabá) issued the conviction. Combined, the sentences total 125 years in prison. Judge Rafael Debra Panicella presided over the trial.

Daniel de Souza Pedroso was appointed as the crime boss, and was sentenced to 46 years in prison, the longest sentence of the three. He served 30 years for the murder and another 16 years for participating in a criminal organization, which increased due to the use of firearms.
