A month-long ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was completed on Monday (10/11). However, even with the signing of the agreement with Israel, at least 271 Palestinians were killed, according to Hamas.
The group said in a statement: “Among the martyrs were 107 children, 39 women, and 9 elderly people – that is, 58% of them were children, women, and the elderly – which reflects the occupation’s continuing policy of systematic killing against defenseless civilians.”
cease-fire
- A ceasefire agreement has finally been reached between Israel and Hamas after two years of violent conflict in the Gaza Strip.
- This announcement was made by United States President Donald Trump, as the two parties signed the first phase of the ceasefire.
- The first phase is characterized by an immediate ceasefire and the release of approximately 2,000 Palestinian prisoners after the hostages return to Israel.
- After the conditions agreed upon in the first stage are met, the other points in the peace plan will begin to be addressed.
The peace agreement, brokered by the United States, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, entered into force on October 10. Even after the ceasefire, Israel carried out attacks on Palestinian territories.

According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the attacks occurred after Hamas failed to adhere to the ceasefire. The IDF claims that terrorists failed to adhere to the terms of the agreement and attacked Israeli soldiers. The Islamic Group denies any violations.
Hamas stated that “actual aid deliveries did not exceed 40% of the agreed upon amount – less than 200 trucks per day in the first month – while commercial shipments accounted for 60%, some of which were incorrectly registered as humanitarian aid.”
