Good news for retirees and pensioners who did not receive the advance payment between April and June this year: the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), on Monday (24/11), began paying the thirteenth salary, for those who receive up to the minimum wage. According to the agency, more than two billion interest will be paid.
For beneficiaries receiving more than R$1,518, payments will begin on December 1. All deposits will be made in one payment ending on December 5th.
According to the government, beneficiaries of sickness, imprisonment and accident benefits as well as death pension and maternity pay are also entitled to the XIII.
To check the value, you need to access the Meu INSS website or application, in the “My Statement” menu. If you prefer to call, the organization’s call center will answer 135, Monday to Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
According to the National Institute of Statistics, to verify the payment date, the citizen must check the final number of the utility card, without looking at the last verification number that appears after the dash. For example, if the utility number is 0104-7, the last digit to be taken into account is 4.
