A violent early morning robbery rocked the home of an 88-year-old neighbor, who lives in a rural area dominated by townhouses. The victim, a Portuguese citizen, was surprised while he was sleeping by three masked criminals who entered his house in El Pelegro after cutting the fence surrounding it. They stole her jewelry, wedding ring, and retirement money.
The incident occurred on Qatar 218 and 210 when the woman was resting in her room and the thieves suddenly woke her up. According to his account, one of them carried a gun, another carried a screwdriver, and the third participated in the reduction. They all had their faces covered, were wearing gloves, and, according to the victim, one of them had blond hair, a detail he was able to make out in the midst of the horror.
The woman said that the thieves paralyzed her by placing their hand over her mouth to prevent her from asking for help, and immediately after that they began searching every room in the house in search of valuable items.
