Claudio Rivas, the main partner of businessman Victor de Aldama in the hydrocarbon conspiracy, was spending the Halloween weekend on a mountain where about 90 wild boars were shot in Finca Matasanos (Cáceres), according to some videos accessed in the country. Located in the town of Sileros, on the border with Portugal, this natural enclave is under the focus of the Unidad Central Operativa (UCO) of the Civil Guard because, according to agents, Rivas returns to the property and is supposedly hidden by iron weapons. Hopefully I can save all the cash from the fuel scam. Rivas is the main person investigated along with Aldama – who did not come to Caseria – by Judge Santiago Pedraz in the National Public on charges of embezzling pork from Hacienda Publica worth 231 million euros.
One source with knowledge of the details of the event, which was celebrated last November 1, says it was “so ostentatious” that they gave themselves over to decades of “goldenmouths,” a feat of discretion that occurred depending on the size of the animal’s colmillo. These memoirs were able to access many video clips that were recorded that day, and which were uploaded to the social media networks of some of those present, in which hundreds of bloody animals appeared with their mouths open on the farm land. From the palos, hold the head of each slaughtered mammal and in the middle stands the shield of Finca Matasano, which can also be seen on the square’s website. In one case, we see Claudio Rivas, who, in his communication with this patrol, insists that he is not at home, but asserts that he is “at the scene” at the farm. Another recording from this weekend was made indoors, at a costume party enjoyed by a musical group.
Last October 7, 2024, just before mid-morning, the Civil Guard went to Silerus to register this place, the value of which Rivas, according to one of the conversations written in the investigations, amounted to eight million euros. They spent weeks pursuing the business and thought they could come up with all the money in cash. The agents made a phone call to his wife Stella Duarte when she blamed him for “making a mistake in preparing the parcels” because they had “10 (bilit) of 50 (euro) instead of 20 de 50” because they did not have enough money to make a ticket. He replied: “Nothing happens.” And I say that the big shield was lowered “and she is there.” Therefore, the UCO indicates in a report submitted to the national public that Rivas “hides cash in the interior of the gunsmith located on the farm” of Matassanos, but the location of his wife’s phone is located at that moment, precisely, in Sileros. I found the money.
The researchers hold the position of director of the commercial company that manages the financial company (Finca Matasanos SL) for Federico Casas. The corporate purpose of the company is “to acquire, negotiate, promote and transfer property” as well as “to carry out fishing activities, exploit fishing trunks and provide fishing-related services”. UCO believes that Casas is the “veiled iron front” of Claudio Rivas and that the stadium in fact belongs to him. Casas answered the phone briefly for the newspaper this month and declined to say that they were both currently the property manager and assisting the aforementioned farm.
Through this Día de los Muertos activity, they also wanted to separate the different businessmen who were consulted. Sources familiar with the organization of the Sinalan event, which was run by the fishing company Sierra España, run by Felipe Romero, also appears in the investigation into it In the case of hydrocarbons. La UCO puts it, Next to Aldama, in the closest circle to Claudio Rivas, because they both know, most likely, where the businessman keeps the money. He denies over the phone that his company has organized a group of mountaineers and says that I am there alone “as an escort.” However, there are comments on social networks from supposed assistants thanking the “organisation” of the “Great Day of the Coaches Association”.
In the hydrocarbon company deposit that the Civil Guard is trying to uncover, agents also recorded payments between 2020 and 2021 to Felipe Romero of Have Got Time, the dealer who bought the chalet in La Alcaidesa (Cádiz) for 526,500 euros, most likely so that former Transport Minister José Luis Albalos could enjoy it.
Rivas and his passion for fishing
Rivas’ passion for fishing is no secret. The summary of the investigation contains other images that appear next to the corpses of wild animals such as lions or tigers. The UCO on the ground is linked to the Matasanos farm, as well as to another farm located in Mora (Toledo) which also conceals the registered name of third parties. “It is clear that both farms are owned by Claudio Rivas, and both are owned by powerful men,” notes the Armed Institute.
In a call dated July 5, 2024, Rivas asked Romero to go to the farm in Mora because he had saved some money he needed. “(…) I have to go to the wardrobe, to get the keys, pff, from God (…),” UCO recorded. Since Romero was unable to do so, Rivas indicated that he would contact Aldama, which, for the coaches, is a sign that both businessmen have the utmost confidence.

Various sources linked to the research explain that Claudio Rivas’ standard of living did not decrease after his arrest, and wonder who accused him of this arrest. Aldama’s partner completely separates himself from the farm and from the Finca Matasanos ownership, although he ensures his continued empowerment there. Suppose that the current officials would go to “desahuciar” because of his legal problems and that he was working in that place, and because of this, he was able to stay, but it was never together.
In this estate – which has an indoor lake, a swimming pool and several buildings – he celebrated his wedding in 2022. In the videos of the link, which were uploaded to YouTube, one can notice among the guests Victor de Aldama, the sister of Rivas – who was also investigated in the national public – and the businesswoman Carmen Pano, accused of hydrocarbon fraud and a testimony stating that he delivered 90 thousand euros in cash to the headquarters of the Socialist Workers Party on Calle Ferraz (Madrid).
