“It is the Supreme Court that will decide. Only SEBI (Secretariat of the Prison Administration) is obligated. I know the conditions of the prison – and we have financial conditions. Now, I do not know the health of the former president. I do not know how he is, I do not visit him, we are not friends. Ibanes stated that whatever the STF decides in the Bolsonaro case, the Federal District Government (GDF) will abide by it. The STF rejected Bolsonaro’s request for a declaration and upheld his 27 years and 3 months prison sentence for the attempted coup. But the trial, in virtual public session, can only end on November 14. Only at the deadline will the analysis be considered complete, since according to the rules, ministers can still change their votes.
It is expected, initially, that Bolsonaro will go to the closed system, possibly in the Pabuda prison complex, in Brasilia. Today, Bolsonaro is under house arrest due to his failure to comply with precautionary measures in another case.
