Hours after his discharge from the Evandro Freire Municipal Hospital, the hairdresser revealed:
“I’m fine, I’m back home now. The bullet entered from the front, then left from the back. How desperate. But this was not my time, thank God. God gave me this freedom.”
In another clip, she recounted how she noticed the shot:
“I felt the fire burning. When I looked down, I was bleeding. Diane fell trying to get me out of the car. I’ve never experienced that before in my life.”
Patricia also stated that the doctor explained that the injury could have been fatal:
“He asked me if I had a debt, and he said, ‘Tomorrow you can be grateful, because you are born again. “If you move millimeters to the side, you will die.”
The hairdresser said she is now trying to recover and cover the costs of treatment:
“I’m just a hairdresser, and I need to work to buy antibiotics, and they’re not cheap.”
The second victim is a 23-year-old woman who works in a food truck in the area. According to residents, she was rescued in serious condition and had to undergo surgery at the Evandro Freire Municipal Hospital.
According to the military police, teams from the 17th BPM Division reinforced patrols in the area. Residents reported that the confrontation was sparked by an attempted invasion by criminals from Comando Vermelho into Morro do Dinde, which is dominated by the Third Comando Poro (TCP).
The case is being investigated by the 37th DP (Ilha do Governador).
