Who is Marta Ortega?

I started working in a Zara store in London in 2007 as a sales representative. Fourteen years later, after the resignation of Pablo Isla – president of the Inditex Group since 2011 -, the daughter of Amancio Ortega (founder of the textile empire that includes, in addition to Zara Bershka, Massimo Dutti and many other brands) took over this very important position. Her words at the time were: “I feel deeply honored and committed to the trust that has been placed in me, and I feel very excited about the future we will all build.” Marta Ortega tops the list of the most powerful women in the world’s fashion industry.
