The 60th International Congress of the Faculty of Dentistry of the National University of La Plata has begun, bringing together professionals, teachers, researchers, graduate students and representatives of the academic and health fields.
The conference was planned to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Unlp Dental College. Within the framework of the activity, the first meeting for non-teaching staff will also be held.
The conference includes national and international representatives, in a space dedicated to scientific updating, knowledge exchange and reflection on current challenges for the profession.
During the three days, key conferences, courses, clinical tables, poster presentations and spaces for academic exchange are held. The submitted works cover areas such as basic science, epidemiology, education, and clinical case reports, especially those related to the resolution of complex situations or clinical importance.
In this context, an official ceremony was held yesterday to present the UNLP honorary doctorate to the Vice Dean of Dentistry, “Community Health Pioneer”, Mercedes Medina.
