Before establishing herself as a television presenter, Eone worked as a child model in the 1960s. At the time, she attracted attention as a new student in Record’s children’s programs. Her artistic career began in the 1970s when she participated in the television series “Meu pedacinho de piso” (1971) on TV Globo. In the narration written by Benedetto Ruy Barbosa and Teixeira Filho, she plays the role of Rosinha, Amancia’s assistant (Marilena de Carvalho). After that, he worked in productions such as the film “O jeca eo bode” (1972) directed by Ari Fernandez.

During this period, Eun was appointed by TV Gazeta to lead a fashion panel for the program “Clarice Amaral em parade”. In 1973, he took over the leadership of the Festival Interno do Colégio Olímpico (FICO), a traditional music competition held annually at the Teatro Record, which had names such as Rita Lee and Chico de Assis on the jury. Throughout his career, he has also worked in teams at TV Manchete and Rede Bandeirantes.

Meanwhile, Ione ventured into the world of fashion and launched her own brand. But he soon quit when he received a promotion on TV Gazeta. In 1980, she took over “Mulheires”, sharing the show with Claudette until 1996. For the next two years, she remained alone as the presenter of the show aimed at a female audience. In fact, the program is still on the air to this day on Radio São Paulo.

In the 2000s, she was responsible for other TV Gazeta attractions, including the programs “Pra Você” and “Manhão Gazeta” – the latter marking the return of the partnership with Claudette. Ione Borges resigned from broadcasting in 2010 to lead a calmer routine and take care of her vocal cord problems. Despite this, Gazeta decided to maintain professionalism with a lifelong contract. I recently helped cover Ronnie Vaughn’s vacation on “All Yours.”
