The Community of Madrid has issued statements on the “quality” of public health in the region, in response to Pedro Sánchez’s attacks in the Chamber of Deputies. He criticized the advisor to the Presidency of the Republic and the official spokesman for the regional government … The Prime Minister’s “absolute ignorance” of the region and its health system. They advocated from the community that Madrid has “the best public health care in Spain, at the forefront of the world.”

“We are leading the citizen’s perception regarding the quality of health with the Basque Country and the Balearic Islands,” he stressed. Furthermore, he insisted that Madrid has an increasingly “more cohesive and competitive” health system.
As he passed, he threw an arrow at the Minister of Transport, Oscar Puente, who “is a user of the Madrid Public Health Service and also a publicly owned hospital, but managed by the Quirón Group.” “We believe in public-private collaboration, and the central government, if it is not hypocritical, will realize that it is using public-private collaboration in health management where it has responsibilities.”
