The 2019 Libertadores champion with Flamengo, Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, is watching the final match of the competition, between his former club and Palmeiras, from a distance. The coach, who is currently leading the Saudi Al-Nasr team, shared photos after the start of the match on Saturday on television.

Jesus, through his Instagram account, shared pictures of the cup along with the players entering the field, as well as the athletes preparing to touch the ball.

During his 13 months as Flamengo coach, the Portuguese made 58 appearances. The success rate reached 81.6%, the best in Brazilian football since 2003, taking into account that the work continues for at least a year.

They won the Brazilian Championship with a record score, and the Copa Libertadores, ending the 38-year fast of the Red and Black. He crowned a team that enchanted with his flashy and attacking football. With a top team at his disposal, the Portuguese has more victories than defeats in the country: five to four.
