Crime
On Sunday, November 9, a 22-year-old young man was killed by two bullets in La Plata while he was with a friend of his, who had had previous disputes with one of the attackers. According to the police report obtained by EL DIA, the victim was identified as Hugo Agustin Gonzalez, who was taken in a private car to Gutierrez Hospital with two gunshot wounds, one in the back and the other in the head. Despite the efforts of doctors, he died soon after.
The incident occurred at 118:521, in Tolosa, when Gonzalez was with a friend called “Mola,” and several men arrived at the scene who, according to those close to him, were looking for that friend because of an old conflict.
In the middle of the intersection, the victim took off the hat of one of the attendees and returned it to him. But minutes later, the man, identified by his initials DMV (22), and by address 18 between 530 and 531, returned with two men and fired several shots at him.
Officers from the Sixth Police Department went to the scene where they found a crowd of neighbors throwing blunt objects, making it difficult for the police to reach the scene. The case has been classified as a homicide and is being handled by UFI 11 in La Plata de Álvaro Garganta. The Court of Guarantee No. 5 of Marcella Garmendia also intervenes.
In the file, expert intervention and cooperation with DDI were requested to proceed with full identification of the authors and seizure of evidence. No arrests have been reported at this time.
