Slow justice
It is necessary to recover the embezzled funds by those convicts in the highway case and also by those currently on trial in the ledgers case. The delay in the first case is already an atrocity, and in the second judicial process extreme speed is needed. This money must go back into society, and it is urgent that it be distributed to those most in need: retirees, pensioners, the disabled and the unemployed but whose basic needs are unmet.
Slow justice is not justice.

Don’t give up on us
There is no way to avoid the pain of reading the drama of the people who live and work in the flooded areas of Buenos Aires province. However, our position must not only accompany and assist him, but must always be in favor of the solution. I remember years ago the project of the College of Engineers and the College of Engineering of the Province of Córdoba, where it was proposed to build a canal starting from Arroito to the south, originally fed by the Segundo River and passing through various cities in that state. It crossed the province of Buenos Aires through the west and center and continued into the province of La Pampa to the ocean before it could connect with the port of Bahía Blanca. This waterway made it possible to significantly reduce the cost of transporting grain and other goods by using convoys of barges driven by a single tug ship. Today, with the facilities provided by RIGI, how good it would be if, in the meantime, investment projects were proposed that would ensure the saving of a lot of resources as well as the possibility of draining the above mentioned excess water through them and saving them in the face of times of drought due to lack of rain.

I think the idea of giving training vouchers instead of money to young people is a great idea. In addition, arts and crafts workshops should be established in all public schools and colleges to ensure that students have employment in the future. Two periods, morning and evening. One for traditional subjects (history, geography, civic education, mathematics, hygiene, etc.) and the other turns on the other side of the precedent to teach the basics of professions such as mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, tailoring, electricity and other virtuous crafts, and joint artistic workshops such as music, drawing, sculpture or theater… which raise the spirit of that wonderful human potential that is the youth of our country. Money should contain and support culture… not as an end, but as a means. It would be futile to concentrate wealth in an uncultured country. Whoever learns to live well will never be able to overcome it, even if he goes through difficult situations. As the great Domingo F. said, Sarmiento: “Schools and more and more schools.” This will lead us to be a more integrated country, within a framework of social peace without resentment, and reducing insecurity, drugs and violence, which have unfortunately escalated a lot.

Death in the street
The death of a Brazilian citizen in the street at the hands of a psychiatric patient requires us to reconsider the law that prohibits hospitalization without the consent of the deceased.

Taiwan and Interpol
Interpol was founded in 1923, and includes 196 countries and is considered the second largest international organization in the world. However, Taiwan has been unfairly excluded for political reasons for more than four decades. According to the Numbeo database, Taiwan ranks fourth in security among 147 countries in the world, thanks to its low crime rate and close cooperation between police and civil society. These achievements demonstrate its ability to contribute to international security. However, his exclusion from Interpol prevents him from accessing databases and the I-24/7 police communications system, limiting real-time information sharing. This breach not only affects Taiwan, but also weakens the global security network and facilitates the expansion of crimes such as human trafficking, financial fraud, and cybercrime.
As global crime becomes more sophisticated, the world needs a comprehensive police network. Allowing Taiwan to participate as an observer in the INTERPOL General Assembly and its working mechanisms would be an act of justice and a practical measure to strengthen global security. Taiwan is ready to cooperate, share its experiences, and contribute to building a safer and more just world.

speed
Last Saturday’s edition presents an interesting article with statistics showing that CABA star violations are accelerating, with an alarming number of cases. As a frequent user of the buses that run along the Cabildo, I would also suggest focusing on checking the speed at which the buses travel along the Metrobus lanes; Either because they are trying to make up for lost minutes on saturated streets or because of inconvenient traffic lights. Once on the exclusive tracks, the cars reach reckless speeds. If this happened in other branches of the Metrobus, I do not know, but it is not difficult to imagine what would happen if one of the buses, for whatever reason, in some winding lines that follow each other according to the layout of the corridors, ended up entering a platform with waiting passengers. In this case the statistics will also be very illustrative.
