The former lightweight champion of the organization will also be attempting the difficult task of joining those who have managed to reach double champion status. At the UFC 322 media day, Makhachev said this weekend’s fight would be the “toughest of his career” and that it would be the “biggest test” of his life as an MMA fighter.
