The event was scheduled to be held at the Neo Química Arena. In a statement published on social media, the stadium explained the reasons for the decision.

“After an inspection conducted by the Military Police of São Paulo to check essential services to the public, the third day of Cena 2K this Sunday (11/23) was cancelled. The Prime Minister’s assessment was that the event did not provide the necessary medical services to attendees, and the mandatory compensation from the organization for holding the festival which was the responsibility of Cena 2K,” an excerpt of the memo said.

He adds: “In the two days preceding the festival, the military police conducted inspections before the start of the event and approved the services provided. The plan presented by Cena 2K was not seen as sufficient to hold the third day of the festival and everyone’s safety was put first.”

Matto is mobilizing
Matuê decided to gather some of the artists who will be performing at Cena 2k for an exclusive event elsewhere. “My show will not be canceled and we will bring some brothers who will also sing today. Wait for the spot,” the rapper wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
After that, the singer explained that due to the large number of fans, it would not be possible to hold a single event. He added: “I don’t have the time or structure to do this. So, it’s normal for several events to happen at the same time.”
