
One lucky man from Porto Alegre alone won a prize worth more than R$99 million in the 2940 Mega Cena contest, drawn on Friday night (14/11). The bettor played a simple game worth 6 Brazilian reals and won six dozen from the country’s main lottery.
The new millionaire played the game in a lottery house located in a cigarette shop in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul.
The following numbers were drawn at Mega-Sena on Friday: 07-08-09-13-22-53.
The next Mega-Sena draw will take place on Tuesday (11/18) and has an expected value of R$3.5 million.

How to play
To bet, you have to choose from six to 15 dozens per card. A simple six-figure game costs R$6. The odds of winning a six-number bet are 1 in 50,063,860. On a 15-number bet, the odds increase to 1 in 10,003 per card.
Bettors aged 18 or over can bet online. Simply register on the official website, get a credit card to make payment, and follow the two-step registration process. After filling in the data, a confirmation code (token) is sent via email to verify the validity of the registration.
Games can also be played in person at lottery outlets.
