After debuting on social media and having a presence on the streets, the brand has become Sin-British mg It was his first official appearance in Brazil. According to information from Autoesporte, the automaker will launch three electric cars to start its portfolio in the country: MG4, S5 and Cyberster. Prices range from R$219,800 to R$500,000, with some prices valid until November 30.
This is the sixth automaker of Chinese origin to make its debut in Brazil in about a year, the others being Jetour, Zeekr, Omoda Jaecoo, GAC and Geely. MG’s operations will be run independently and unconnected with the strategy adopted in 2011, when it sold the company in the country in partnership with Forest Trase, without much success.
The diverse model range that MG will offer in the Brazilian market was already leaked in the Brazilian EV (PBEV) marking program and later confirmed by Autoesporte. Options include the MG4 mid-size hatchback, the S5 mid-size SUV, and the Cyberster convertible, which has performance that rivals Porsche sports cars.

MG4
The MG4 is a mid-sized hatch model measuring 4.28 meters long, 1.83 meters wide, 1.50 meters high and with a wheelbase of 2.70 metres. Available on the international market since 2022, it will arrive in Brazil in the XPower version for R4 224,800. With two electric motors, the model has 435 hp and 61.2 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.8 seconds, while the 64 kWh battery provides up to 279 km of autonomy.
In terms of appearance, the front of the model has a tapered shape and a bumper with a lower air intake and LED headlights. On the sides, the hatchback is equipped with traditional handles, in keeping with the current trend of flush door handles. Meanwhile, at the back, the lights are connected by a light strip that runs across the entire trunk lid.
S5
The intermediate model in terms of dimensions will be MG’s entry car into the automobile market. The version on offer will be Luxury at a price of R$ 219,800. The average length of an SUV is 4.48 metres, width 1.85 metres, height 1.62 metres, and wheelbase is 2.73 metres.
In Brazil, the electric motor will be slightly less powerful than the MG4, but will still have 305 hp and 35.7 kg of torque. The rear-wheel drive system allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, with a range of up to 351 km according to the Inmetro standard.
Inside, the SUV will be equipped with a 10.25-inch instrument panel, a 15.6-inch multimedia center, a raised center console with an integrated cold-free charging dock, among other things.
Cyberster
Finally, the Cyberster, a sporty model that retails for R$499,800, draws attention with its aggressive design and vertically opening scissor doors. The model’s registered dimensions are 4.53 meters long, 1.91 meters wide, 1.32 meters high, and a wheelbase of 2.69 metres.
The last model on the list is the Cyberster sports car, which costs R $ 499,800. The price may be intimidating, but the model has very interesting numbers (and appearance). Introduced as a concept car in 2021, it was launched in 2023, attracting attention with its aggressive design and vertically opening doors.
In Brazil, the model arrives in a single version with 342 km of autonomy and a battery with a capacity of 77 kWh, always with all-wheel drive. The 510 horsepower allows the Cyberster to reach 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h. Therefore, the car is faster than the Porsche 922 Carrera S, but costs half the price.
The MG launch will be equipped with branded brakes Brembo,Voice signed by BossThe P-Zero tires will be sold in four color options: red, white, silver and grey.
Consolidation in the Brazilian market
By the end of 2025, MG plans to open 24 dealerships in Brazil, with at least one point of sale in every capital city in the southern, southeastern and central-western regions. In 2026, this number is expected to increase to 70 stores in all regions of the country.
All MG models sold in Brazil will have a 7-year vehicle warranty and 8-year battery warranty. Additionally, the brand is offering 24-hour roadside assistance for two years at no cost, and customers purchasing vehicles at launch will receive a 7-kilowatt Wallbox for home installation and a 3.4-kilowatt portable charger for in-car use.
