Most lobbying professionals earn more than R$ 35,000 – 11/29/2025 – The Committee

Research conducted with 542 professionals in the sector of corporate and government relations (RIG), known as lobbyists, showed that 34.7% of them earn more than R$50,000.

Another 22.4% earn between R$35,000 and R$49.9,000, 25% earn a salary between R$25,000 and R$34.9,000, and 17.9% earn monthly salaries less than R$25,000.

The data was compiled by the recently launched Anuário Origem Latam 2025, based on a questionnaire conducted with specialists from companies, sector entities, the third sector, consultancies and law firms.

“The research demonstrates the growing strategic importance of the RIG region, which is reflected in higher salaries and proximity to the top management of organizations, as in many cases, RIG professionals report directly to the CEO or international executives,” says Rodrigo Navarro, responsible for the publication.

The yearbook says that 47.5% of the sector’s employees in leadership positions are women. Another conclusion is that demand for services has grown significantly in sectors such as health, technology, energy, agribusiness, logistics and infrastructure.

Professionals were also asked about regulation of the profession, the subject of a bill that has been in Congress for more than 20 years.

The majority say they support the establishment of a public registry for workers in this sector. This measure is supported by 79.4% of professionals from sectoral entities, 72.1% of professionals from companies, and 66.6% of consultants.
