The President of the Chamber, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), ruled out the chances of changing the decision of the PL Antifaction and postponing the vote on the project scheduled for Tuesday (11/18).
In a conversation with the article, the President of the Chamber stated that the removal of MP Guilherme Dayret (PP-SP) as rapporteur of the motion, requested by the Workers’ Party, “is not under discussion.”
“This is not under discussion. We will vote on the legal framework to combat organized crime tomorrow (Tuesday) in the chamber,” Motta told the article on Monday afternoon (11/17).
As stated in the article, state governors, opposition leaders, and the base allied with the right-wing government believe that a vote on the project should only take place in December.
