After a controversial stint at Warner Bros. On top of the aging DC Cinematic Universe and a five-year string of critical and public flops, Zack Snyder will see the doors of another important production company in Hollywood closed.
According to Forbes, Netflix has canceled the Batman Vs Superman and Justice League director’s projects scheduled to premiere via streaming in the coming months.
In addition to the two new films in the Rebel Moon series, a sci-fi film released between 2023 and 2024 that was not well received, Snyder will also direct a series based on Dawn of the Dead, a horror film that launched the director’s career. Both would have been cancelled.

Furthermore, two other projects from the director that are still on paper – the second season of the Twilight of the Gods cartoon and a feature film – could also have been put in the drawer permanently.
Since having to step away from directing Justice League, one of the major projects from DC’s old theatrical run, in 2018 due to a family tragedy, Zack Snyder has been unable to find another on-screen success.
Following the release of Zack Snyder’s controversial Justice League, the director’s future at Netflix looked promising. But none of the projects led by the director received approval from critics or fans.
