During a wonderful participation in the interview with Patricia Bueta, on Tuesday (11/11), Neusa Borges surprised the audience by opening her heart about the lack of invitations to work on television. With 53 years of experience and 84 years of age, the veteran made an honest statement: “You can be sure, I am 84 years old. But how I would like to work. Now, they are retired.”
Known for her iconic roles in soap operas such as Salve Jorge, the actress regretted her absence from Globo productions for more than a decade.

Even in the face of difficulties, Newsa maintains the sense of humor and liveliness that made her famous. When Patricia Boeta asked her the secret to energy at the age of 84, she answered with her usual dismissiveness: “Beer,” prompting laughter from the audience.
The actress also said that she never formally studied theater and that her preparation was more intuitive than technical. “I don’t receive saints either. But I don’t know how to change my clothes and change my hair and be the one talking over there. I want to feel like that ‘little potato when she’s born’. I’m terrible at decorating. Now that I’ve grown up, it’s even worse. I have a rather photographic mind.”
