The 2025 CBF Summit was held last Wednesday, the 26th, in São Paulo. The event was promoted by the Brazilian Football Confederation Academy and was attended by the biggest names in Brazilian football. Among them are coach Carlo Ancelotti, technicians, managers, directors and football-related experts.
The main topics discussed were governance, innovation, sustainability and financial fair play. In addition, topics such as the transfer market, governance and broadcast rights sales markets were also discussed.
Olaria was present at the ceremony, explaining responsibility, the search for knowledge and the exchange of information, which is part of the club’s management. Olaria was represented by Fernando Santos, Executive Director, Wellington Calota, Director of Football, Marcelo Souza, Coordinator, and Daniel Lopez, Director of External Relations.
Fernando Santos said: “Participating in an event like this promoted by the CBF, where we had all the personalities of Brazilian football, is important for the club. Olaria did a lot of restructuring work, starting this new group, now with the name SAF. There is nothing more important than participating in an event like this to refresh and add value to the management of Olaria.”
In recent years, Olaria has come to prominence in the work done by Ric’s, the company that manages football at the club. Therefore, one of the main concerns of management is to provide structure and quality of work to professionals.
Pottery reinforces the importance of the structure
This was one of the points most praised by the players, the technical staff and the names associated with football, who have passed through the club in recent years. Thus, from the point of view of CEO Olaria, the current situation in Brazilian football increasingly requires attention to the structure of football.
Fernando Santos said: “It is very clear for us, within this new cycle of Olaria, to invest in the structure and in the people and qualified professionals to continue the growth of Olaria. So that Olaria does not just return to its place, but aims to achieve greater things, and has ambition within football in Rio de Janeiro and Brazilian football.”
Finally, in 2026, Olaria will compete in the second division of the Carioca and Copa Rio. In addition, the club is eligible to compete in the main competitions in youth football categories in Rio de Janeiro.
