A Russian drone attack killed one person and injured 11 others on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital, the regional governor said on Sunday (11/30/2025).
“Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy attack in Vyshgorod, one person was killed and 11 others were injured. Among them is a child,” Governor Mykola Kalashnik wrote on Telegram, after earlier posting that the Kiev region had been subjected to “another enemy drone attack.”
He stated that rescuers were trying to evacuate the occupants of the tower that had been bombed. “The number of wounded may rise,” Kalashnik warned.
The attack occurred after Russian forces launched drones and missiles into Ukraine between Friday and Saturday, in attacks that killed three people and left hundreds of thousands without electricity.
American peace proposal
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a team of Ukrainian negotiators traveled to the United States on Saturday to discuss Washington’s plan to end the war.
The original US proposal, drawn up without input from Kiev’s European allies, was to recognize the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Crimea and Luhansk as part of Russia.
The United States later backed down in the face of criticism from Ukraine and Europe, although the content of the new proposal is unclear.
