Internal security cameras on the bus that caused a collision that injured 13 people, on Monday morning (11/17), captured the moment when the driver tried to avoid cars, lost direction and ended up crashing into the gate, on the Rodovia Raposo Tavares, 17 kilometers away, in São Paulo.
The pictures show the crowded bus, where passengers standing and sitting were thrown away due to the collision. In the video, the driver can be seen trying to regain control of the car while trying to avoid the cars in front of him. Then the bus crosses the road and reaches the gate of the residential complex. Soon after, the passengers themselves began to evacuate the car, many of them still disoriented.
According to the concessionaire in charge of this department, the bus, which was on route 809-A Jardim D’Abril/Pinheiros, had problems with the brake system shortly before the accident. Failure to control the car led to a collision between 16 vehicles, including two motorcycles, a bus, and 13 cars, according to the fire department.
