Three patients were rescued from a treatment clinic after entering the sea during an outdoor activity in Praia do Rosa, in Imbituba, south of Santa Catarina on Friday (14/11). They were found, swept away by a strong current, approximately one kilometer from the coast, according to military police.
Due to the absence of rescue teams on the beach and the distance of the victims from the sandbar, a local fisherman offered to assist in the accident. PM teams were called and a boat undergoing maintenance was used in the rescue operation. The police were able to reach the three men by rowing.

One of the victims was suffering from a psychotic episode and severe fatigue, and needed immediate assistance from the security forces. The man showed signs of hypothermia and extreme exhaustion, and was taken to the Garopaba Clinic to receive medical care.
