Column In Mira The Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO) has conducted a new investigation into the house where a six-month pregnant woman and her husband were killed by a masked man, in Formosa (GO), on the outskirts of the Federal District, I found. The crime occurred on Tuesday night (11/4), at approximately 10:45 p.m., in the Jardim das Americas neighborhood.
On Wednesday (12/11) the Homicide Investigation Group (GIH) returned to the scene and found that there had been no entry into the property. The two victims were identified as Laislany da Silva Rabelo, 24, and Carlos Henrique Candido Gomez, 32.
The case
Laislany was found dead in her bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head. The husband tried to escape through the front door, but the criminal chased him and executed him at a neighbor’s house.
According to new information, there is evidence that the victims knew the perpetrator of the crime. The main suspect has already been identified by PCGO, but in order not to prejudice the investigations, the details remain confidential.
The scientific technical police searched the scene, collected traces and sent the bodies to the Medico-Legal Institute (IML) in Formosa. Investigations are still ongoing.
