A 20-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (11/11) on suspicion of selling, publishing and storing child sexual content online. The investigation was carried out by the Police Station for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (DF) with the assistance of the Civil Police of Bahia, in Vieira de Santana (BA), in executing the search and seizure warrant issued by the Federal District Court.

Understanding the issue:
- According to investigations, the criminal used two personal Instagram accounts to promote groups on Telegram, where sexual criminal content was sold to children.
- One profile was linked to the suspect’s personal email and had an account recovery number in his name.
- As for the second profile, linked to another email, there are strong suspicions that he was also controlling it, using third-party data to hide his identity.
- To join these groups, you had to pay a fee through Pix.
During the investigations, the police discovered that accounts linked to the suspect stored materials that included rape scenes of children and teenagers. It also emerged that the number used to receive PIX was linked to his sister’s bank account.
