It was not December but May when Esperanza dressed as Purisima in the cathedral in the days before her coronation. The same served as a harbinger of what would happen when that day came. They say that although she longs to meet her people again, the Virgin may return on the big day, December 8, more beautiful than ever. This would be the best reflection two thousand years later of the vision in the Book of Revelation when it describes that woman clothed with the sun, with the moon at her feet and twelve stars around her head. The author of the book failed to say that this woman, so close, had a bow.
