Photos shared on social media show the moment a C-130 military cargo plane, with 20 passengers on board, collapsed in the air before crashing to the ground, on Tuesday (11/11), on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

In the pictures, it is possible to see the plane rotating as it falls, with two columns of smoke coming out of the plane, before it collides with the ground.
The Ministry of National Defense stated that there were 20 people on board the plane, according to the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet. There is still no official information about the number of victims.

The minister explained that search and rescue operations are underway at the site. He added that he spoke by phone with Georgian Interior Minister Giladze.
According to the Georgian Interior Ministry, the plane “did not issue an emergency signal,” and an investigation was opened into the accident.
