Military police officers from Paranaiba, in Mato Grosso do Sul, rescued a 3-year-old boy trapped in a safe inside a bank branch on Sunday morning (23). Despite the fear, she was not injured.
According to police, the child was playing with his twin brother while his parents were using the agency’s ATM.
During the game, she is locked in a cabinet made of sheet metal, with a compartment that does not allow for manual opening.
The police, who were called to number 190, found the child frightened and crying after being trapped for half an hour. They had to use a power tool, borrowed by a family member, to open the compartment.
After the rescue operation, a team from the fire department evaluated the victim and handed him over to his parents without any injuries. The family followed the rescue operation.
