Princess Leonor puts survival, evasion, and extraction techniques into practice in hostile scenarios

This type of exercise, known as DEVAS, was conducted between 26 and 28 November by the Education and Training Division (I+A) and was supported by EZAPAC and the 49th Wing with a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter.

As reported by Army Air and Space, the activities helped apply knowledge acquired at SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Extraction) Level B.

The participation of specialized units allowed them to implement practices related to their specific capabilities within the region SERE Doctrine.

Exercise DEVAS highlighted the integration of knowledge from different training areas, the combination of 2nd Lieutenant leadership practices, and the application of procedures Cesar (combat search and rescue) and team tactics Special operations forces (Special Operations Forces).
