– I have always talked about this model because it is a successful model. Not just because of electoral support, but because the reality is that Andalusia is better. This can be seen in large areas where you can measure the progress of society: employment, business creation, self-employment, exports… An independent society is advancing in the social sphere like never before. Economically and socially, it is growing significantly and all this is accompanied by lower taxes, although we still have a long way to go to ensure that Andalusians have a better quality of life.

– The national president promised them fair regional funding if he reached Moncloa. But it is a deficit that has persisted since Zapatero, Rajoy, and now Sanchez…

The big difference is that the Andalusian Popular Party has always demanded the same thing. When we were in opposition and we had the People’s Party government in Spain, Juanma Moreno had the courage to stand up and go to Madrid and demand exactly the same thing that the government party demanded, which was the Socialist Party, with María Jesús Montero as branch advisor. Now the matter has reached the national government, and it is counting on it, and it has not moved a single note until this is corrected.

I realize that the negotiations are complex, but it is possible to establish a temporary settlement fund worth 1.5 billion euros, so that Andalusia does not lose the resources it needs, while the problem is resolved. Hence, they are all quite damaging criticisms.

Moreno insists that instead of getting stuck in the mud, a political opponent should be responded to with data to “kill the bad stories.”

Our duty is to deliver this message in the best possible way, to try to prove to the Andalusians that the only option to settle in Andalusia, to continue moving forward, is Juanma Moreno. On the other hand, the other parties running for elections, what can they offer there? This is the big doubt.

What the Popular Party can say in the election campaign can be interpreted by everyone in one way or another, but what will the Socialist Workers Party say? When the Andalusian community asks her if she wants to have adequate funding, which is the average for all autonomous communities, María Jesús Montero tells her no every day. Moreover, what it is doing is taking special and unique funding with the secessionist quota of Catalonia, for the independents. For this reason, all surveys put her as the least valuable leader: 3.6 is the maximum score she gets.

Then there are other parties like Vox, which come here with a national story, without their own story for Andalusia, and do not contribute a single proposal, they are very extreme messages and what they want is to wear down the government.

These two parties, for these different reasons, are on a different but similar frequency because it is the same melody, and it is the same melody that is heard in their speeches. One extremist and another trying to disrupt find themselves in the same place.

-Is he an opponent of the Vox Popular Party?

Our real opponent is paralysis. This paralysis could be caused by either the Socialist Party or the Vox Party. This is the reality. We have already seen the extreme message of instability in other autonomous societies that were not even willing to govern. They flee at the first opportunity because they know that governing is very difficult, and that harsh and violent criticism is much easier in politics.

In the face of this, we have the Socialist Workers Party, which contributes nothing at all, not even a solution. It’s all about dropping what they did in the past, which was the Eris and the Vav and the corruption and presenting themselves now with more corruption. With coldo, with Santos Cerdán, and with María Jesús Montero who is always in the sauce of all the stews.

– Can’t a minimum agreement be reached?

– What’s more, both will now hamper budgets. Doesn’t mean you can remove a game from here to put it here and improve it. No, the ban means they don’t want the budgets. Vox will do it and PSOE will do it. With different frequencies they play the same result.

-The electoral cycle that has now begun, with elections in Extremadura, Castilla and León, and negotiations in Valencia for Mazzone’s departure, what could it affect in Andalusia?

– People must see that what the Vox Party has brought to Castilla, León and Extremadura is instability. The budget is not approved, new projects cannot be launched, and this cements an independent society. He is interested in the national message and nothing else, and is now causing anger in Andalusian politics. I maintain that we are an island, and if Andalusia has distinguished itself in anything, it has been that stability which has made it the great economic and social miracle of all Spain.

-The main flight of votes towards Vox comes from the Popular Party, but has this transfer also begun to be detected from the Socialist Workers’ Party?

-When the electoral period is activated, it is already possible to classify these vote transfers. Now they are the nuances. In any case, it is very important that the overwhelming majority at all levels be clear about one thing: that the head of the Andalusian Junta must remain Juanma Moreno. This is repeated in all opinion polls.

-Is there any possibility that Juanma Moreno will move to Madrid and lead a national project?

He always said that his project was Andalusia, which was his dream in politics.

-Does it have an expiration date?

– I see him as strong and enthusiastic, and he works 15 and 16 hours every day in Andalusia until the last minute.

– His excessive leadership means that a potential heir or successor is not even considered.

-We have crystal clear leadership for the present and the future. Talking about another future in the Popular Party of Andalusia and in the Council other than Juanma Moreno seems to me an idea.
