A 46-year-old man, with an outstanding warrant for rape, was arrested on Tuesday (11/11) by Military Police officers of the BPM 4th Division (Guara). The fugitive was arrested in the same administrative area where the police unit is located.

The team was called by members of the public, who reported a homeless man being disturbed and causing confusion near a commercial area in Guara II.
At the scene, after consulting the system, police found that the suspect had an arrest warrant for rape. As he approached, he disrespected and abused the military, as well as resisting arrest. The man was arrested and taken to the first police station (Asa Sol).
The police department found that the fugitive also had multiple convictions for the crimes of robbery, theft and contempt, in addition to being a suspect in another rape case.
