After a weekend of unsettled weather, with Saturday marked by strong winds and Sunday with cloud cover gradually dissipating, the week in Rio is starting differently. No rain is forecast until at least Friday, according to Alerta Rio, a city council system.
- New waves: The Guanabara Bay clean-up promises to revive Praia da Beca, which should be clean again in summer 2026/2027.
- Effects of Hurricane Rio: “The trend is for extreme events to become more frequent,” the meteorologist says.
The agency highlighted that the movement of humid winds associated with the location of the high pressure system will affect the weather in the municipality on Monday. Cloud cover will be varied, with overcast skies. Winds will be weak to moderate, and temperatures will be stable, with the lowest reaching 15 degrees Celsius and the maximum reaching 27 degrees Celsius.
