Early on Thursday, Russian forces again attacked energy infrastructure in several districts of Ukraine, especially in Odessa, where they caused severe damage to facilities of vital importance to the country, especially with the approach of winter.
The Russian military attacked the city of Artsez in Odessa with drones, where a government building and part of ongoing reconstruction work in the area were also affected, the regional prosecutor’s office said in a message on a telegram.
Although no casualties have yet been confirmed as a result of these attacks, prosecutors have warned of the seriousness of these actions and accused Moscow of deliberately attacking these areas as part of its strategy to make progress within the framework of the invasion that began nearly four years ago.
Likewise, the state energy company Ukrinergo noted that attacks of this kind have also been recorded against facilities in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, causing power outages, which is part of this new Russian campaign against the Ukrainian energy sector.
