“I will almost certainly not be able to publish or produce any new work in the UK while this embargo is in place. (…) If the PLO remains embargoed when my next book is ready for publication, this book will be available to readers all over the world and in dozens of languages, but it will not be available to readers in the UK, simply because no one will be allowed to publish it (unless I am content to give it away for free),” the book’s author admitted. The trial of the case is expected to end in the British Supreme Court next Tuesday 2.

In September, the writer won a literary award, but did not travel to receive the award, claiming that she was at risk of arrest.
