Banco Santander customers have been experiencing difficulties accessing the app and executing transactions since Friday morning (28/11). According to reports from monitoring platform Downdetector, more than 700 people have registered issues as of 10 am, mainly related to failure in Pix and unavailability of login to the app.
The problem specifically occurs on the last day for employers to pay the first or only installment of the thirteenth salary, raising anxiety among customers who rely on the bank to process transactions.

The incident stirred the social networking site X, where customers commented on the error. One person wrote: “I can’t believe @santander_br fell on payday. Oh my god I’d be scared.”
The bank’s profile responds to some customers and confirms the problem in the application.

The bank has been contacted to request the official position, and in the event of a response, the report will be updated.
