Several people died and others remained in a bus collision in Stockholm at 16:23. The police confirmed that the car collided with a stop in the center of the Swedish capital, but they are still investigating the cause of the accident. The police spokesman announced that the driver was arrested and investigated on charges of possible murder, as part of the routine procedure in these cases, despite the absence of any information indicating that it was an assault.
A rescue services spokesman confirmed to Reuters that five people were affected by the accident, although the agency did not specify whether they were passengers or people who were in the place of the children. However, local media reported that the bus was not in service at the time of the accident, which is why only the driver was on board.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson responded to what was described as “tragic news” on his social media account
